Mote Park gained revenge for their defeat at Sevenoaks back in October with a fairly comfortable victory on their own green. However an excellent performance from Anne Farley, Lynn Thomson, Jane Taylor and Joan Moffat saved the whitewash. From 4 -10 down after 12 ends, they dominated, winning six of the last seven ends and scoring 12 shots in the process.

Mel Bridges and her ladies only lost 15-17 while Brenda Bennett’s foursome went down 11-12.  In this latter game, Sevenoaks were leading 10-2 before Mote Park scored a single shot on 8 of the next 9 ends to turn the tide in their favour.
