KENT LEAGUE SEVENOAKS IBC 2 v THE ANGEL IBC 10

Things were going very nicely at ten ends, four rinks just ahead and one not looking so good.

In the end Brenda Bennett’s rink suffered a dismal 19 shot loss which the other rinks could not cover, despite their best efforts.

Our two points came from Sally Burton, Sharon Funnell, Diana Purssell and Jane Taylor with their 15-14 win, although they kept the rest of the team in suspense over the last three ends as they were leading 15-9.

Skips Mel Bridges went down by one shot, Sue Wallis and Ann Munro by three shots – all good efforts.
