SEVENOAKS IBC v WHITE OAK IBC. Ladies KITL. Wednesday 13th November

SEVENOAKS 12 – WHITE OAK 4

98  shots to 87
Having suffered defeat at White Oak last month, it was pleasing to come out on top quite convincingly today, helped by home advantage.
Highest winning rink was Cynthia Gaston, Brenda Bennet and Lynn Thomson (captain) 22-11, with Val Stevens, Diana Purssell and Mel Bridges close behind on 21-11.  Ann Munro and Rosemary Tuck skipped the other two winning rinks.
KITL rules allow for up to 3 men to play in the ladies team so after Joan Moffat had to leave the rink, the ladies were fortunate that Rob Hunt was there watching the game so he was allowed to replace Joan, the first Sevenoaks Man to play for a Ladies Team.
