Last match of the season and a good result for Sevenoaks, drawing 3-3, despite losing on shots.
Eileen Grassick, Diana Purssell and Sue Wallis dominated their game winning 25-9 as did Sharon Funnell, Brenda Bennett and Avril Moss with their 19-10 success. Swale had 100-year old Norman playing lead against Sharron and a fine game he played.
Jackie Smith, Captain Lynn Thomson and Ann Munro had a very close match with the opposition captain’s triple. Going into the final end, Sevenoaks were one shot in arrears but a brilliant score of three shots gave them a 16-14 victory
After the match flowers were presented to Ann Muno, who is leaving the Club to move to Yorkshire, with our best wishes for her future. Also to our retiring captain, Lynn Thomson, with many thanks for her two years at the helm.
