It was a different story on the Sevenoaks green with both teams under pressure.   Jane Taylor’s foursome came up against a very strong DSL rink and despite their best efforts, suffered a depressing 8-25 loss.   After 11 ends, Brenda Bennett and her ladies were trailing 7-18, but boosted by the good news coming through from Dartford, they bucked up their ideas, improved their game, and achieved a very satisfying 24-22 win.

Folkestone will be the opposition in Round 2 of the Yetton Trophy.
