This event was a new one put forward by Lynnette Stock, Ladies President of Kent Ladies Indoor Bowls Association and all clubs within Kent were invited to take part.

There were ten teams participating, of which Sevenoaks Ladies were one of them.   A round robin of four games of one hour duration in which 7/8 ends of rinks were played.  Sevenoaks Ladies won on two, drew on one and lost by just two shots of the fourth game.

We came away with a £50 cheque for the club by coming third in this event, ably assisted by Diana Whybrow (Oyster) who subbed for us at position 2 due to the sickness of our fourth player, she was one of two subs on standby for which we thank her.  Sevenoaks team were made up of Margaret Elsdon, Ann Munro and Clare Jolley.   Very well done.
