It looked as if the ladies were going to leave Bromley pointless but an 18th end win from Angela Checksfield, Diana Purssell, Joy-Ann Hemmigs and Ann Munro saved the white wash.   The team trailed 9-14 with three ends to play before a magnificent resurgence saw them score 3-2-1 to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!

Sevenoaks almost won on Linda George, Avril Moss, Eve Strudwick and Ann Welch’s rink.  A good late run saw them recover from 5-12 to 16-16 with one end to play but Bromley held firm to
win 16-17.

Brenda Bennett’s rink scored four shots to lead 11-9 after enjoying the half time cup of tea but then failed to score again, losing 11-21.  They certainly had the drank cups of tea!
