Another successful match for the ladies, clocking up their second successive Kent League win of the season.   In a 5-rink game, they won on 3 rinks and lost on 2 rinks, but only by 1 shot and 3 shots.   
 
Captain of the day, Brenda Bennett, skipped her rink of Diana Purssell, Jeannette Kisnorbo and Joan Moffat to a convincinv 25-11 over her opposite number.   The score was 11-11 after 12 ends but The Royals ladies failed to score again.  Angela Checksfield, Mary Gadiner, Rosemary Tuck and Ann Welch trailed 10-14 at 13 ends but a strong finish saw them pick up a further 10 shots for a 20-15 victory.
 
Sharon Funnell, Lynn Thomson, Avril Moss and skip Jane Taylor retained the initiative throughout for an excellent team success 16-12.
 
After 14 ends had been played, the scoreboard showed Sevenoaks narrowly leading 57-52.  The half way cup of tea worked its magic as Sevenoaks put on the pressure over the last few ends for a well-earned 86-67 shots victory.
