The ladies suffered a heavy defeat at Tonbridge but there was one bright moment when Marian Greenouff, Lynn Thomson and Ann Munro achieved an excellent win.  Only three players, you will note, one medical drop out early in the day.   The trio actually won 25-10 but had to forfeit 25% of their score and were still successful.

After a slow start, 8-0 down after 6 ends, Jenny Barnes, Barbara Taylor, Joy-Ann Hemmings and Sue Wallis recovered well, leveling the scores at 12-12 after 14 ends.  The Angel then scored five shots on the next three ends before a final Sevenoaks rally narrowed the score to 15-17.
