After having a good win against Prince Arthur  on our home ground two weeks ago the Sevenoaks Ladies set off to Gillingham for their return match . A number of the regular skips were unavailable and so several ladies found themselves playing out of position. Joan Moffat stepped up to skip her team of Dot Fuller, Linda George and Lynn Thomson, all of whom had a very good game leading until the 17th end when Prince Arthur got 7 shots. Joan’s team clawed back to draw on the 19th end but unfortunately lost 1 shot on the final two ends, so the final score and our best rink   19 -17, so a win for Prince Arthur

Sadly, the other 4 rinks couldn’t match the Prince Arthur Ladies on their home green.

Despite the score it was an enjoyable afternoon.
